Thank you! So now we know it works as expect with the new Outlook data file. It means there's something going on with the default one, which seems to be outside of our control.

Unfortunately that kind of test isn't of any help as you somehow decided to switch synchronization options in between, making it all more complicated that it should have been. This is odd, the Android version itself shouldn't be a problem as the app works ok with our test devices running on Android Pie. Anyway, thanks for the info, will investigate further.

Okay, during the first sync the event was added to Android. During the second sync the event was deleted from Android, although! during the same second sync the app determined that the same test event appeared in Outlook again as a new one and therefore it got transferred to Android. So what you see...

Please try to temporarily disable your firewall for the private network and try to sync again. Will it help?

What you can do is to create a test even in Outlook, sync it with Android using the 1-way sync option with the "sync deletions" option enabled, check if the event is there on Android now. Then delete the event in Outlook and sync with the same sync parameters again. Will the event be removed on the ...

Do you change sync direction in between the synchronizations? Meaning is there the same one-way sync with deletions for the first time? I'm asking because you say "I then elect to sync one way"... which makes me think another option was used for the first sync.
