What parameters to tweak in the options?
In Tools->Options-> Compare Options-> Mail settings try removing check from "Creation date" and putting it on "Body".

Re: v 1.2 RC2

I have run the sync between the laptop and the desktop, and synched. Then I checked for duplicates and found 1 in contact, 44 in email and 4 in the journal. I deleted these duplicates. Have you ever copied your PST files around in the system? Let's take emails. With default options, in order for EZ...

That's a good idea, generally, but 99% of users do not care about certain bugs fixed, what interests them is new features (which can be seen in version history) and "all known bugs fixed", thus there is probably no great use for such list.

Hello,

if your name is Dick Davis, then you know what the problem is- your Internet provider, Verizon, has a very strange anti-spam policy and they blacklisted a big Internet provider, thus we can't send you any mail, they all get returned. I already adviced you to use your hotmail address.

yes, you can search your computer for *.pst files. By default PST file is in C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

Regarding the missing Outlook.pst - just show to Outlook where your PST file is. Do not know how it could have happened.
As regards network down- we do not touch any network settings, thus EZOutlookSync can't be accused.

Re: fix?

Anonymous wrote:How do I use the command line functionality if the profiles don't work?
You can use the PST file names as below. The disadvantage is that all folders will be synchronized:

EZOutlookSync.exe /s:FileName1.pst /t:FileName2.pst /d:s /e

Hello Peter,

I understand you use Profiles, and RC has a known problem with Profiles, to be fixed in next build.
