I am really using Standard edition (EZOutlookSync Version 1.2) and I am doing (I believe) a two-way sync. That is, I check a box on the source side, the program automatically checks the corresponding box on the target side, then I click top button in middle which says "synchronize both sides.&...

Re: just downloaded - evaluating...

Hello, thank you for posting this and evaluating EZOutlookSync! 1. Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix? In two-way sync, the program can't delete any items (if you are really using Standart edition, not Pro). Please make sure that was not a one-way sync. 2. I want to install program on both mac...

Hello Scott, between the synching computers, only one has to have EZOutlookSync installed. And, yes, EZOutlookSync has to have access to both PST files, either over network of if you bring one of them on flashdrive. So in your case you need to buy one license, install it on home computer or Laptop, ...

Re: Solved........

Glad the issue is resolved. How is it possible ActiveSync is a lot faster with blowing a sync to my PocketPC than this app? First thing, ActiveSync syncs locally (using fast USB connection), while we sync over the Network, the 10/100mbit speed of the Network being the bottleneck. If you plut both PS...

Re: Difference in Outlook on notebook after sync

Hello Jeroen, - After syncing the .pst from my desktop to my notebook the sync process went ok, but I only see messages and calender entries from tw weeks ago. I checked the files, they are exactly the same on both computers (size and dates). I even opened the laptop .pst over the network in my desk...

Regarding Profiles - I don't think I quite understand the relationship between the Profile listing (in the drop down box) and the configuration that they represent. If I understand you, when I do a default full sync it is saved as part of the configuration element of that Profile. If I sometime lat...

Hi Jon, I do have a couple more questions. Does a profile have to be deleted to change any advanced deltion parameters that may have been selected, or is it necessary to un-select the deletion parameters of the profile in order to have it default to it's normal default profile behaviour? Hm, Jon, I ...

do i need an exchange server?
No you do not need an exchange server, you just need to have the two computers within a single LAN, so that you could share folders between the machines.

Re: moving messages

when a message is moved from one folder (such as the inbox) to another folder after a full sync is done, does EZo know this or does is just compare folder to folder? My testing has resulted that it just compares folder to folder. There is no way to know it without comparing folder by folder, so, ye...

Re: pre-sale question: syncing outlook rules?

I am sorry for the delayed reply, in case you still accept replies: does the pro version sync outlook "rules"? I couldn't find this info on the site or forums (although I could have overlooked it). Since I have several POP email accounts and folders, I need to make sure the rules that deli...

OK guys, perhaps I will do a little bit of longer explanation, but hope it still will be clear enough. If you do a one-way sync, and have "Deleting Items" enabled in Options, those items that are not present in source, will be deleted from target. This works in one-way sync only, because i...
