Duplicate emails when I sync two computers

Post by kentgorsuch »

Can anyone tell me how to filter out duplicate emails when syncing. I have a fair amount of experience with importing/exporting and usually there is an option to allow or not allow duplicates. I can find no such option with EZoutlooksync. Every time I sync my laptop with my desktop I end up with double emails.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's what Help File says:
-------------
If I delete items in one file- will they be deleted automatically upon synchronization in the other file?

Yes. First of all, please check that in Tools->Options, "Check for deleted items" is enabled. If this is enabled, then in Source-> Target synchronization EZOutlookSync would delete the items from Target file, that are not present in Source file.

By "Deleting" we mean sending the item into "Deleted Items".

Correspondingly, in Source<-Target synchronization, we would delete those items from Source file that are not present in Target file. In Source<->Target we do not delete anything (unless you are using the Pro version).
----------------
To sum up, you should be using either one-way sync or the Pro version of the program. Thanks!
